This was a present for my sister and brother in law, as I'm so poor this Christmas. Its the first I've been able to show since starting Digital Art during the summer. I'm unhappy with some aspects, technique and that damned eyebrow, but I'd spent ages on it and just had to finish it.
The initial photo is from Attempte stock.
Any crits always welcome. Thanks

Argh, I'm sorry about the lens flare. But I did something really silly. I flattened the image, then saved it; and now I'm stuck with the thing. I'm really annoyed about that, I had planned to put it up here without it, and hope for the best, so please be kind. Anyway it took a good few hours to paint, but ages to to come up with the design.
I learned alot doing it, mainly that I don't like painting straight lines. That and the importance of using the right brush.
Its for a book, some of which can be read online, and I do recommend. www.kiranis.com
